The Opinel folder was invented by Joseph Opinel in 1890 in Savoie, France as a simple working man’s knife. It proved popular with the local famers, herdsmen and winemakers of the area. The company is still run by the Opinel family to this day.
4 3/8” closed. Sandvik stainless clip blade with crowned hand hallmark etching. Oak handle with classic engraved artwork. Safety ring for locking the blade. Made in France.
